This course develops your sight translation competencies, adding to the consecutive and simultaneous interpreting skills you already have. You will learn to render written documents orally from one language to another on the spot, giving the people in the room immediate spoken access to written materials. The course covers systematic preparation techniques, delivery methods, and specialized strategies for handling a variety of document types.

Through progressive exercises, authentic document practice, and comprehensive skill-building activities, you will develop the mental discipline required to read one language while speaking another.
